Steve is a healthcare principal at Shapiro & Shapiro CPA’s. He consults with physicians, dentists and other healthcare professional on a wide range of strategic management issues such as business and strategic planning, start up cash flow modeling, billing and collection, human resource planning, medical malpractice risk management, OSHA Compliance and tax and financial planning.

Accomplishments
Steve is a former president and trustee of the Institute of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants.
He serves as a member of the Member Benefits Committee of the PA-MGMA.
He has addressed the Society of Medical/Dental Consultants on the topic “Ways to Integrate Physician Extenders into Medical Practices”.
He also spoke to the National Association of Healthcare Consultants on “Retirement Planning for Healthcare Professionals”.
Steve has conducted a series of lectures at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Dentistry on operations management and he has lectured at numerous other New Jersey hospital resident programs.
He has taken six semesters of hospital coding certification courses at the Institute at Middlesex Community College.
